• In 7th grade science students will expand on what they learned in 6th grade. While deepening their understanding of biology, ecology, physics, and other fields of science they will explore how science effects their own lives and how everything is connected through networks and systems.
  • 8th grade science is a time to build upon the processes learned in 6th and 7th grade science within a new conceptual framework.
  • In this course, students will develop the skills of a scientist while studying a variety of topics including earth science, architecture, genetics, pressure, the cardiovascular system, and water as a resource and ecosystem. Throughout the year there will be an emphasis on design and a focus on asking "How do we know that?" and "How could we test that?"
