Precalculus Honors is a precalculus class with a strong emphasis on problem solving skills. Students will get substantial practice working individually and in groups on problems that are interesting and challenging. We may even choose as a class to participate in national math problem solving competitions!

Analytic Pre-Calculus expands on the concepts learned in Algebra and Geometry. In the first semester, functions, quadratics, logarithms and exponents will be discussed. In addition, students will begin a long unit on trigonometry. Much of the second semester will be spent working with trigonometic functions and exploring analytic geometry.
