Information about Senior Pages for the class of 2008

Due Dates:
  • Deadline = Thursday, Oct. 11th by 4 PM.
  • Deadline with $25 late fee = Thursday, October 25th by 4 PM

Appropriateness: this is not a private book; it’s public…crude language, drugs, alcohol, rudeness, sexuality, hate, etc. are not acceptable and will be deleted.

Pictures:
  • Digital pics should be at a resolution of 300 DPI. If you give us pics with a lower resolution, they will be blurry or jaggy.
  • use TIFF file formats
  • max 14 pics + portrait; over that, we will chose which don’t go in.
  • we will scale them; you can suggest how to crop them using pen or Post-It notes, or we will do it for you.
  • size of portrait: 4 1/8” wide by 3 3/4” tall. They are wider than they are tall. If you give us tall photos, we'll have to crop them to fit.
  • we cannot guarantee that print photos can be returned, so getting copies made of precious pics might be a good idea, or you can scan them for us.
  • if you want to do a digital collage: maximum size = 10.5” tall by 4 1/8” wide, 300dpi resolution.

Your Senior Text: 2000 characters, including spaces; over that, WE CUT IT. Please save your text as a document file. We can’t promise that formatting (bold, italics, underlining, etc.) will translate into our software, so plan accordingly. Please don’t use all caps either.

Put it on a CD: Submit text and digital photos on CD; print photos are OK too. Use a 9”x12” ENVELOPE: Please submit your things in a 9”x12” envelope with your name and “Senior Page” written on it. Place your envelope in the SENIOR PAGES box in Andrea Germane’s office in the Student Life Center, or give it to Tripp Robbins or Allie Haynes.

If you have questions, you can talk to Allie Haynes at school or to Tripp Robbins (x2339) or email him at trobbins@menloschool.org. For reference, you can look at recent yearbooks’ senior pages; this year’s will look fairly similar.
